The pathology “Normal gallbladder” has the following characteristics:
- The gallbladder is normal (usually, its length is 7-10 cm (with extremes 4-12 cm), anterioposterior and transverse diameter is 2-3.5 cm).
- The gallbladder is of normal shape (without flexion or there can be instable\ functional flexions).
- The gallbladder tonicity is normal.
- The gallbladder contour is clear, continuous.
- It is represented in the form of the image of homogeneous band (linear).
- The thickness of the gallbladder wall is normal: 0.1-0.3 cm, depending on plenitude (fullness). The diffuse intraparietal modifications, the modifications protrusive in lumen (parietal vegetations), the circumscribed modifications (in the form of transsonic lacunae and reflectogenic inclusions) are absent.
- The gallbladder contents is normal.
- The complaints are absent.
- The perivesicular area is without modifications.
